In this episode, Dani Foffa sits down with world-renowned psychiatrist, philosopher, and near-death experience pioneer Dr. Raymond Moody live at the IANDS 2025 Conference. Dr. Moody introduced the term Near-Death Experience (NDE) to the world in his bestselling book Life After Life 50 years ago, and is one of the founding voices of near-death research.
In this conversation, Raymond shares how the modern field of NDE research began, why studying life after death scientifically is so difficult, what his Logic of Unintelligibility reveals about the possibility of consciousness beyond the body, and the biggest lessons and after-effects he’s learned from five decades of exploring NDEs, the afterlife, and non-ordinary states of consciousness.
If you’re interested in NDEs, afterlife evidence, consciousness research, or the science of what happens when we die — this episode is a must.

In this episode, host Dani Foffa speaks with Nancy Maier Lipari, a remarkable near-death experiencer (NDE) whose journey offers profound insight into life, death, and the power of love.
In 1975, Nancy fell from the top of a ladder, rupturing her liver and leaving her hovering between life and death for three days. During that time, she experienced a transformative near-death experience—leaving her body, traveling through a realm of pure light and love, and undergoing a life review that revealed how deeply our thoughts and actions affect others.
Nancy’s NDE opened her awareness to other realities existing beside our own, showing that everything in life is connected by love. In this conversation, she shares how that experience helped her support her son’s transition to the other side, the lessons she learned about God and the meaning of life, and the ongoing process of integrating her spiritual awakening into everyday living.
This episode is a timeless reminder that love is the purpose of life, and that even the smallest acts of kindness echo across eternity.
Nancy's book, Dancing with the Divine NOW, is a vessel for transformation. The call is to co-create Heaven NOW and is more action-oriented and community-driven than many titles that focus solely on personal insight. It’s not just about awakening—it’s about embodying divinity in daily life.

What is an NDE?
A near-death experience (NDE) is typically a profound, life changing, intensely emotional experience that usually occurs during a clinical crisis and has common characteristics and aftereffects. It is not a dream, hallucination, or mental illness (Greyson, 1983). There are no predictive variables to identify who will have an NDE. They happen to people of all ages, religions, socio-economic groups, cultures, educational backgrounds, and belief systems. They occur under a variety of circumstances such as accidents, near-drownings, illnesses, combat, surgical procedures, and childbirth. Following an NDE, experiencers (NDErs) often display some common aftereffects. Research has established a set of common NDE characteristics and long-term aftereffects. Theories used to explain near-death experiences in purely physical terms have been proven inadequate by NDE researchers and others.

In this episode, Dani Foffa interviews Peter Panagore, a former pastor and near-death experiencer whose 1980 NDE while ice climbing in the Canadian Rockies transformed his understanding of life, death, and God. Peter describes his union with the Divine, a profound life review, the vast cosmic Void, and his choice to return to life.
His experience erased belief and replaced it with direct knowing. Together, we explore how to integrate an NDE, faith vs. belief, mysticism, spiritual awakening, the Bible through a mystical lens, and even how love and ethics can guide artificial intelligence.
After his NDE, Peter dedicated his life to sharing messages of Love, Light, and the Soul’s eternal nature. A longtime practitioner of Centering Prayer, meditation, and Kriya Yoga, he spent fifteen years as an NBC-TV storyteller and now hosts Not Church: Mysticism No Doctrine No Dogma on YouTube, where he offers deep insights on the afterlife and spiritual consciousness.Peter’s website - www.peterpanagore.loveTo book Peter for an integration session - www.peterpanagore.love/book-onlinePeter’s YouTube - / @peterpanagore Peter’s Instagram - www.instagram.com/peterpanagorePeter’s Facebook - www.facebook.com/peterpanagore.authorPeter’s book “Heaven is beautiful”: www.amazon.com/Heaven-Beautiful-Dying-Taught-Beginning/dp/1571747346Dani’s Instagram - www.instagram.com/dfoffaDani’s Facebook - www.facebook.com/dani.foffa

What is a Near-Death Experience (NDE)?An NDE is a deeply transformative event that often occurs during a medical crisis such as cardiac arrest, surgery, accidents, or childbirth. It is not a dream or hallucination, but a profound state with common features: out-of-body awareness, encounters with light or divine beings, overwhelming love, and lasting life changes. Research shows NDEs happen across all cultures, ages, and belief systems, and they often lead to heightened spirituality, compassion, and psychic or mediumship abilities.

In this episode of Afterlife Revealed (Ep. 20), Dani Foffa talks with Near-Death Experiencer Davis Haines. Davis is a professional musician, actor, and teacher from Birmingham, Alabama, who works with children and people with developmental disabilities.
In 2011, Davis was run over by a truck and given only a 1% chance of survival. He suffered massive injuries—bone fractures, blood loss, and organ failure—and was transfused with 13 units of blood as doctors fought to save him. While his family said goodbye, Davis crossed the veil. What he experienced wasn’t darkness but a homecoming filled with boundless love, unity, and the profound knowing that “Earth is the dream.”
In this intimate NDE interview, Davis shares his accident, his five-day coma, and the years-long integration process that reshaped his art, family, faith, and purpose. When he awoke, he told his family an angel—whom he calls Art—had saved his life.
Today, Davis is a songwriter, worship leader, and certified Music Together® teacher. Since his profound near-death experience, he has traveled the world creating music, improvising, and living his mission to “spread Love through Art.”

The role of dreams in understanding our inner lives
The after-effects of her NDE and heightened sensitivity
The darker side of near-death and spiritual awakening
Insights into trauma recovery and resilience
The transformative power of surrender and compassion
Drawing from indigenous wisdom, psychotherapy, and her own ongoing integration, Christine offers deep insights into the shadow side of awakening, the importance of embracing our challenges, and the resilience of the human spirit.
