From Death to Divine - Karen’s Life-Changing Near-Death Experience ~ Karen Thomas ~ ETE Episode 136

Karen’s near-death experience occurred on July 7, 1982, in Anchorage, Alaska, during surgery for her second back operation. While under anesthesia, her left common iliac artery was severed, causing her to bleed out on the operating table. She recalled watching the medical team from above as they worked to save her life, then being drawn out of the hospital and into a bright, otherworldly realm. Guided through a lush meadow to a magnificent, temple-like structure, she was shown her life in extraordinary detail, re-experiencing her emotions and those of others without judgment. Though filled with peace and love, Karen felt deep regret for any harm she had caused. Offered the choice to stay or return, she saw her family in the hospital waiting room and felt the power of their prayers. Moved by her daughter’s heartfelt plea, Karen chose to return to raise her children, instantly finding herself back in her body.
After her recovery, Karen confirmed details of her experience, such as the doctor in street clothes who saved her life and the events in the hospital waiting room, as she had witnessed them during her journey. While memories of her glimpses into the future were erased, her experience profoundly transformed her, leaving her with a lasting sense of divine love and purpose. For weeks after her return, Karen carried the light and peace of the other realm, a source of inspiration that continues to shape her life.
